FAQ

Why film?

Because it's timeless! My goal as a photographer is not to just follow trends, but rather create memories for you that you'll look back on in 10 to 20 years and still love how they look.

When will we receive our final photos?

For engagements, portraits, headshots, and smaller events, you will receive your photos within 30 days of the photoshoot date. For weddings and large events, you will receive your photos in 6-8 weeks after the event date.

How do I book with you?

To book a photo service with me, please email me or fill out my contact form and I'll be in touch with you within 24-48 hours. From there, you'll receive photo package options and/or a custom quote from me. If you have any questions, we can discuss through email and schedule a video call to meet one another. Once we settle on your package, I'll create an invoice and contract for you and your date will officially be locked in once you sign your contract and pay your deposit.

How much are deposits?

For engagements, events, and portrait sessions, deposits are $100 to secure your booking.

For weddings, my deposits are typically 30% of the final price, with the second 30% payment due one month away from your wedding date, and the final 40% due on the day of your wedding.

Can I customize a photography package?

Yes! After inquiring with me through email or my contact form, you'll receive photography packages from me through email. If my packages do not fit your vision, I am more than happy to create a custom quote for you based on your photo wants and needs.

Do you charge travel fees?

All travel within the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) is included. For photoshoots and events outside of that area, please chat with me or mention the location in your inquiry.

Do you use AI photo software?

No, I do not use AI photo editing software like Aftershoot or Imagen. I edit all of my photos in Lightroom Classic, Lightroom Mobile, and Photoshop.

How I work

My work is mainly documentary style, with some guidance and occasional posing. I love to work around you and your day to capture natural candids and true emotion as it unfolds.

I am always open to receiving mood boards and posing shot lists. If you're not a visual person, I'm happy to pick your brain and hear about the types of photos you'd like to receive or the story you want your photos to tell.

My Style

My style is warm, minimal, and timeless. When editing digital photos, I strive to emulate the true-to-colour elements of film—deep greens, accurate skin tones, true blues. I do love to keep my photos on the warmer side to add life and vibrance to photos. Editing my film photos is done only where necessary, often removing something distracting from the background of a photo, and not heavily altering the colours of the film stock itself.
